Sculptures by the Sea November 2009 Bondi Sydney Australia

Hi Everyone, I was hoping that I could get a little advice on how to improve my skill. I went to an art expo at Bondi beach last November called "Sculptures by the Sea" where lots of local artists and uni students present their work. I know I still have alot to learn so any advise you can give would be great.

I was trying to be creative with the shot, I'm not really sure if I achieved it though. A panned out shot of the sculpture can be found here. I should add that I chose the worst day to go, it was very overcast so the lighting was terrible, which is a real shame because there was some really interesting colours I would have liked to capture.

This is the first time I had actually set out with my camera to take some serious shots, not just messing around. Any comments on the whole album (Here) would also be appreciated.
