I'm trying to get more story in my pictures. not just action or mood but, some thing that gives you an idea that some thing did,is, or will happen.
please let me know if you get any thing from this image. i will tell you only that this is my niece with her new bike.
feel free to comment on all aspects of this shot, as i am here to learn from the insight of others.

I'm getting a kind of dissatisfaction with the bike? Like a flat tire or something, and she's frustrated with it?

I really like the image, but I think it would work better if you cropped out the car in the background - I find it kind of distracting. Try it and see?

EDIT: Oh! I just caught that the tassel thing came off the bike. So I guess I was sort of right in my interpretation. I need to look more closely at things, haha. It all makes sense now.

Yep, try it with a much closer crop. All that's needed to tell the story is her and the bike.

your right she had pulled the streemers from the handle bars and was trying to sort it out. she's 2+ and is learning to solve problems.
she is very graphic in her looks and i am always reying to catch those moments when her brain is firing at top speed.
and yes she put them baxk in the bar (didn't even think to ask for help). she's going to be a handle full very soon. heck my brother says she is.
