Default Christmas Shaped Bokeh

Hi

I did this image for a regular competition we have at the company I work for (this one was entitled Still Life), I was pretty happy with how it turned out but I got no votes at all!

I am really interested to hear what people think of it, particularly in the context of "Still Life" I guess.

If you are interested the rest of the images are here:
Still Life

Thanks for looking and please don't hold back

Still Life Christmas

I would say:
The white xmas tree thingies are a tad too white, there seems to be too much emphasis on them.

Other than that, I like the photo, a bit on the birght side, but that does emphasize the highlights on the red ribbon.

However, I must say that if I had to vote, I would've voted for the shot of the mandarin orange, I absolutely love that one

Thanks for looking, maybe I got a bit carried away with doing the shaped lights that I forgot to make sure the image worked as a whole!

It's good to get some feedback on it anyway, thanks.

p.s. I voted for the Orange, it is a great shot
