Default Shinto wedding at Meiji Shrine (Tokyo)

Was at Meiji Shrine last year and there was a wedding going on at the time. Took some photos and wanted to make them appear "older", but still new.
Do you think this is too much post processing?
Too dark?
Any ideas on how to make it better?

Hi Hage,

This is a great image! Meiji Shrine is my favorite shrine in Kanto and if I lived in Tokyo, I'd spend a lot of time there. (Of course my true favorites are in Kansai: Fushimi Inari, Heian and Futami in Mie.) I have a similar image to this, a Shinto wedding processional, that I took on Tri-x way back in the day at Ikuta Shrine in Kobe, but I wish I had a digital image...

Not at all. It looks like an old fashioned, hand colored, B & W image.

I don't think so.

I would use the stamp tool or the patch tool and get rid of the lamp(?) in the top of the image. I don't think it adds anything to the composition.

Again, this is a really nice image!

Speaking of Shrines... I am off to Ise today for some Hatsumode tomorrow... Hopefully I'll get some interesting images!
