Default The joy of txt

He wants txt but she has better things to think about.

Then joy of txt 2

Camera: Nikon D70s
Exposure: 0.167 sec (1/6)
Aperture: f/5.6
Focal Length: 28 mm

How would you crop this? Would you take the knee out? Would it change the story?

BTW: Not what it looks like. She's my grqanddaughter, the knee is my wife's and he's a family friend.

yeah I think the knee is distracting...it would look a bit more 'planned' if it would look as if there's no one else there.

Hi Nathan. It's been a long time since I've been active on this site. I'll try to do better in the coming year. I really like this shot. It tells such a common story. My stepson is always texting someone, however he WILL take his eyes off of his cell phone when there is a beautiful girl in the room. Lol. I scrolled the image down to bottom of my window to see if cropping the knee out would help or hurt the image. To me, it helps. Cloning would be very difficult due to having to rebuild your grandaughters' right leg. (Something beyond GIMP and my abilities).

If I saw this photo with your intentions for it, the knee would be important because it would indicate that another person may get the girl while tester boy wasn't paying attention. I think the idea of the photo is very fun, but I too see a camera rather than a cell phone in his hand so the description doesn't work for me.
