Default Walk by the Beach...

Hi All,

I've composed this shot for the couple walking by the sea.

The DOF was to draw the attention to the foot tracks.

Does the composition gives the right idea? Does this picture SELL the concept? How's the composition?

Appreciate your feedback....Cheers!

I really like it! Well done. But if I had to be nitpicky, I would say crop out a bit of the foreground, as I feel it's just extra space. Crop it closer to the area that is in focus. Great picture though, that's just me being picky, and only my 2 cents.

The sharp focus on the footprints with the couple slightly blurred as they walks off works great. I quite like the shot, it feels like its conveying a message, like you should stop and think a moment as you view it.

The blurred foreground doesn't work for me. I'd be tempted to crop at least some if not all of the part before the in focus tracks begin. Regardless of this nit, it's a lovely, well-executed photograph.

I'd have framed just a touch higher to get more of the distance. Just a touch.

Interesting shot, I like it. Maybe a little less foreground, so that the 'in focus' starts the path might be better, but compelling like it is.

I agree with the above, great shot, but would like to see slightly less blurred foreground. Fun!

I'm just starting this so I may not give the best advise, but yes I think the composition is much better in that second shot.
