Default Snowglobe

I posted this in this week's assignment, but I was hoping for a little constructive criticism. I never seem to get the crisp sharpness some get through Photoshop. I tweaked this a little in Lightroom, but nothing drastic.

Life is like a box of chocolates. No matter how sweet it is, when the heat is on, it looks like crap.

I'd say the shot looks great as is. Perhaps you might be interested in a Custom White Balance using a grey card to get a more accurate color reporduction, other than that, it's all up to composition.

I'd watch out for the 'thing' on the right edge, as it breaks the clean frame. The picture frame may be skipped, as little of the intricate detail comes through thanks to the bokeh. On the other hand, the sharpness of the base of the globe may be worth exploring further. The reflection off the surface of the tabletop (or whatever it may be set on) makes for an interesting photo element to experiment with.

Best of luck.
