Arrow Mexican Celebration

Hello there, I think this is my first or second post...
I'm a fairly new photographer, just began my photography course on August and finished 1 week ago. My final project was to choose a theme and develop a series of photos, I chose the celebration of the Virgin of Guadalupe, even I'm not a catholic, it's a strong celebration between Mexicans and in the northern part of the country (where I live) a special kind of celebration is done, where pilgrims and dancers wander through the city and make tribute to the Virgin in her chapel.
Anyways, the number of total photos taken for the project was around 2k or 3k, but the one I handed out to my professor were 80+ photos

Edit: What I'd like to be critiqued is composition and color
This was the one that my professor liked the most, the rest of 'em are on my Flickr

I like the depth of field and the bold colors. The thing I noticed first off is the top of the foremost hat is cut off.Was this becasue of a crop or is this the orginal?
That for me is the bieggest distraction.
The lack of faces is ok (for me anyway) because the rest of them are either out of focus or also facing the other way
You might also try and clone out the dude at the end of the row. He just doesnt fit in

This is the original photo, this guys are dancing all the way in the street and sidewalks are crowded as shit, so the photo came out that way. I'll check the rest of the files to see if any other has the head complete.
You mean cloning the guy with white shirt and a blu apron?
