Default Chirstmas Card Idea - Trying out shaped bokeh

Hi all.

Last night I took a few creative images of some Christmas tree decorations using a cardboard cut-out for some shaped bokeh.

Here is the best of my results. Click on the image to see the non-watermarked/full size version.

I'm thinking of selling some Christmas cards made with it.

Shot at 1/20 F1.8 ISO 640 (I think), 1x SB 600 CLS triggered at -1.7ev on camera flash set at -3.0ev

I can post up pictures of my rig later when I get home.

All critiques welcome.

My first reaction is that the bokeh shape is a slightly awkwardly abstract. It looks like it's supposed to represent something, but I can't figure out what. The end result, for me, is that it distracts me from the subjects. You could play around with different shapes? I like the concept.

Totally unrelated, but you could play around with lighting angles. I'd be interested to see what it looks like to have the main reflection from the ornaments offset a little more.
