Default Pick-A-Pumpkin

I took this at a U-pick pumpkin patch, but I was wondering if they sky is too plain and bright. It's really grey, but does it fit with the photo, and is the picture too bright?

Camera: Fujifilm finepix S1000fd
(not sure what the settings or anything were)

The sky does seem a little too washed out. Bringing the exposure down a little and using a fill flash (or more flash if you did use a flash) could result in a more even exposure.

I really like the composition though, the tractor really sets the scene and the pumpkins in the foreground add depth to the picture. The model's pose reminds me of how I feel after looking at pumpkins for too long

I didn't actually use a flash at all for this picture. Is there a way that I can use Photoshop to bring down the exposure? This was just a fun photo I took while my friend was trying to pick out her pumpkin to carve. I liked the photo but once I uploaded the picture I could tell the sky needed to be fixed.

If I do use photoshop, should I just change the sky, or could the whole photo use a touch-up?

Thanks A Lot

I don't know much about photoshop, but my impression is that exposure is very difficult to alter in post-production. Maybe someone else could be more helpful with that though.

Same comments on the exposure, but I like this photo even more with the top cropped closer to the subject's head (without crowding it). Great idea for a shot

The only nit is the sky otherwise this is an outstanding capture.
