Default My very first attempt of using a camera. "Bottles on Fire", Inspired by eduafe

Hello DPS community, I would love to introduce the debut of mine. I had my camera for a while and was making domestic pictures most of all, but yeterday decided to play a little...
I read a thread by eduafe, but since it is litterally impossible to find 70 or 90% alcohol in Emirates I decided to change the technique of this shot a little... Here is what I got...

Device: Nikon D90
Lens: VR 18-105mm F/3.5-5.6G
Focal Length: 52mm
Exposure
Aperture: F/5.6
Shutter Speed: 1.3s
Exposure Mode: Manual
Exposure Comp.: +2.0EV
ISO Sensitivity: ISO 800

While the rules state "be specific in your questions", since it is my very first shot, any critique would be welcomed... What do you think of colors, flames, do I have to do any postprocessing? Thanks, guys... Please be harsh in your criticism...

I definitely like the bottles of eduafe and other guys in the "how I took it" section, but I couldn't burn the bottle from inside, because I had nothing handy yesterday at my place, I'll try to use gas, for refilling the lighters tomorrow... but for now this is all I have... I wanted the flames to be obvious above the bottle and to be little red, wanted more of them and wanted the "rejection" of water-bottle to be obvious, in fact it is a box from the same bottle...
fire vs water =) mix of emotions...
so go ahead and dont hesitate to tell me the truth.

I think it looks pretty amazing, my only post production thoughts are that you could duplicate the image and apply different filters to each and have a pop art style series to put up.

Thanks! I am glad to receive some feedback, and positive is even more encouraging.
I'll try playing with this image in GIMP

I think it has a really interesting look. Would be cool to see some more like this, just don't burn anything down!

Don't worry, I keep a fire extinguisher close at all times
but since it is a Chinese Fire-Extinguisher for some reason the "how to use section" says:
"Do not spray on the naked fire"
just kidding. well, about more shots I can tell you that it is impossible in Dubai. We dont have 70-90% alcohol here, and the liquid for barbecue is inflammable) (like in Simpsons when Bart was writing on the whole board many times: "inflammable - is NOT a challenge " but it is for me, so I told some of my relatives to bring me alcohol from my country when they come to visit me. and soon will try again... meanwhile I'll go practice panning

Thanks for your comment, mpf777, vie4gold!
