Default Fall Foliage..nice vivid colors

Hello,

I took this photo of a tree in front of our house. I really love the vivid colors of the leaves during fall and I know no other photographer would let it pass without taking some shots. I focused the shot on a cluster of leaves and fruits (I don't know what this tree is called), zoomed a little and used the Foliage mode in my camera. I really like this shot although I think it's a bit over-exposed. The light coming from the sky seems to be a little too bright. Should I adjust the exposure for this shot?

Details: Canon G11
Shutter: 1/200
Aperture: 4.0
ISO: 400
focal lenght: 21.5mm

Thanks in advance for your advice.

IMO it is nicely exposed.. . no overblown highlights and great details.. Love the colors too. Of course the background lights are bright because the sun is there but backlighted photography is not something new.

I also think it's ok, and the colours are very nice. There are some overblown highlights (where the sky is visible through the leaves) but this is not so distracting. Maybe you could choose a different part of the tree so that the sky in the background would not be so visible, if you want to avoid this.
