First Photo Post...please critique

hello everyone....i am 16 and enjoy photography... my camera is a Canon 40D and i have a 28-135mm 3.5-5.6 IS lens..i dont have much experience but i am trying and getting better..i most often photograph cars but i do all things..please tell me what you think of the pictures below..i will also like to know what kind of lens you guys recommend for my camera...is what i currently have a good lens for "stay on" general use or is there something better that you recommend..also what is a good lens for shooting cars rolling like picture 9(i know #9 sucks just showing what kind of shot i want to take)..thanks in advance

Hi I'm only a newbie too, but I'll gladly offer some feedback even though I don't know much. I think you have a good DOF on several of your pics. I like the water droplets on the car emblem. although your stuff is so different from what I'm trying to do but you have great color. I'm sorry that I can't offer anything very technical but that wouldn't be fair since I barely am figuring out what I'm doing!! Best of luck and keep it up I think you have an artistic eye.

I would suggest reading the Critique Forum rules regarding what to post. You have too many images in one post for starters, plus you have not included the EXIF.

Also suggest redung the size of the images and adding a link to a larger size.
