Moon One Alleyway Grafitti

I won't lie. I find grafitti very interesting and a beautiful artform. Some will disagree and that's fine, I can completely understand why. It can be profane, and to some just look like crap. I like it when its done with tact, and has subject matter. This shot doesn't have a specific subject matter, rather, its just someone in my town's Tag. I walked by it on my way home and thought it could be a good pic come night time.

This was my first shot with the new (to me) Canon, it was done on the "P" mode.

Let me hear it. I personally do like it quite a bit, the simplicity, yet intrusive colour peaks my interest, but I'm interested to hear other people's opinions.

hi there, I am a total beginner so i dont know too much technical stuff, only what i feel when i look at something, so here goes.......I also like grafitti and i like the picture and the texture on the wall, except maybe something about the light?? maybe a little too harsh or bright in just the one spot over the words so the words are kinda lost........just my two cents.....

Glad to hear you like that style of art/photography. There is a little story behind why I choose this specific word combination when walking through the alley. The word Moon and the texture of the wall would correlate becuase of the crater effect once it was dark and the light was cast upon it. That's basically the little story behind it.
