Default Blue Sky Patch

HP PhotoSmart R707
Exposure Time : 1/440.5Sec
F Number : F2.8
ISO Speed : 100
Brightness Value : EV6.1

The arches were in heavy shadow and took a far bit of processing to bring out the details.

Should I leave the blue sky patch as it is or darken it, or ?

Alhambra, Granada, Spain 1

I love this! I like the differences in the darkness and bright sunshine. Lovely details in the structure!

The shade of the sky looks a bit unnatural to my eye. Have you tried a B&W version? With all of this detail, it might look great.

Default Blue Sky

Nice shot, that detail is sweet! On the sky, depends on the use - personal or commercial. Light and shadow on the walls implies a fairly bright clear day, but the sky patch is a bit washed out for those conditions, possibly due to processing for the shadow details. I'd probably deepen the sky. Its the only real color in a really pretty shot

I love the detail in the arches, absolutely stunning! I like the sky as is; it's a nice splash of color!

I agree that the sky has a bit wierd tint. Having it deep blue would be much better.

I quite like the blue as it is. It doesn't look unnatural to me. I think it goes very well with the pastel pink cast on the walls and the light browns of the carvings.
