Default Lighting critique - does it look ok?

This is a far from perfect shot I know in terms of the action in it, but I was reasonably pleased with the lighting. I had a strobe shining from the left, and a strobe from the right, both powered down to 1/4.

Can anyone give me either general feedback saying if it works or not, or any tips or hints on what I should tweak to balance the lighting.

Would be much appreciated!

If you get an opportunity to try this again I might try to angle your second strobe to get rid of the shadow that fell across his midsection. Other than that, the light looks great, and I like the shot. Nice work.

Are you sure that flash coming in from the right fired?

Even if it was a single light source it is still a cool image.

Thanks so much. Yes, it is a little distracting, but sometimes I don't notice these things until they are off the camera and onto the screen!

Yes, although it was front right, not right right, if that makes sense. That's what is causing the hand shadow.

Thank you, I'm glad you like it
