Critique: White Audi

My friend has just had his Audi wrapped in white (was blue) and I thought I'd take some shots. This is one which has had a larger number of hits in Flickr and was wondering what you guys thought.

I did a custom white balance from the bonnet of the car, for obvious reasons!

Your white wrapped Audi looked blue.

Just needed a bit of color balance.

Right. So what should I be using to do a white balance? I always thought it was something white. But it seems that we should be using something grey.



Then you see all these lens caps with a bit of white translucent plastic in to help with white balances, i.e. White Balance Lens Cap

Generally, at night I set my WB to manual, around 2800K.

As far as the shot, all you really see is door. No headlights, barely any taillight. Doors aren't all that interesting (unless it's a Koenigsegg).
