Default Lines and Light

I made this image this evening looking through the slats of an old shed. I liked the way the lines converged into the light. I would like to know if all the leading lines are effective, and do they keep you interested? My goal was the the light being the actual subject. I hope it was achieved!

I do think the idea of the converging lines works, they draw my eye into the picture. It might be even better if the bottom third were cropped - the junk on the floor is distracting. It's a pity about the flare, but I don't know what you could do about that. Maybe some PP expert could enlighten us ...

I think you have succeeded in what you wanted to achieve as I find this photo very interesting and yep the converging lines work for me.

Thanks Aegea and Beedee!
The flare was something I wanted to leave. I took three shots, and this one interested me the most, mainly because of the flare. It had a ghost like quality to it.

I like it, I think it would have been better if the trees etc. weren't visible through the slats omn the left side of the frame........JMO.

EDIT: oops, just realized how old this thread is.
