Default massive antonov russian airplane

shot this this mornin a antonov 124 airplane delivering 3 helicopters to my work. 1/200sec, f/22, iso 250 with a canon 40d 28-90mm lense

well i know theres lots going on in the shot, and i didnt have a 17-40 wide angle lens so i couldnt get much on the whole plane into the shot but on your opinion why is it just so so, whats missing or wrong with it? thanks

thnx for sharing!

I would of took the photo from the rear of the plane, looking towards the front.

This way you could have gotten more of the plane and also the helicopter.



Now I know it is easier said than done, because security for this plane is REALLY tight so I am sure your photograph vantage point was probably the only view you probably could have gotten.

I agree. If possible, I would've moved to the left and perhaps turned the camera to capture a vertical rather than horizontal shot. For me, the point of interest is that big "mouth" swallowing the helicopter.

Another option would be to take 2 or three separate shots then splice them together .
