Honestly, I can't suggest anything different about it (now it's time for others to come in and poitn out everything I didn't notice).
I think the brush matches the rocks enough that it looks almost mike it belongs. the light isn't low enough to drown everything in shadow, but it's low enough to maintain depth and texture. |

![]() taken the next day after the original post. ![]() I put water on the rocks and waited a little to get a different effect. What do you guys think. I haven't gotten a lot of response on this photo.

I personally like the first image the best. The close up just doesnt show enough perspective of the brush being left in the rocks. And the last one I'm not so fond of the water marks on the rocks and the paint on the brush being blown out.
What I might do tho is to boost up the contrast a bit. The string is also distracting, any chance of removing that? Maybe even a slight vingette to bring a tad more attnetion to the brush.

ill go get rid of the string. vignette is an AMAZING IDEA. Is there a way to do this while taking the shot or do you do it after in pp (i know how to do it in pp but i want to know how to take the picture like that in the first place if possible) I am going to go shot it again tonight. first dry and then completely wet

You know, to be honest. I havent a clue on how to do it straight from the camera. I use a cool lil program Nik Color Effex Pro.2 traditional filters. There are a ton of cool filters within but the one I use religiously is the vignette.
