Default Friends admiring the Sunrise - Sillhouette - Please feedback

Sun is way too high, friends are too small, sea line isn't straight, and the exif is missing.
Colors are nice, though.

Also the composition wihh everyone on the left side... Not so good. It looks empty to me.

I think you should wait until the sung gets down, then go closer behind your friends and shoot from that perspective.

I say drop the sun out of the pic all together and just photograph the colors and the sky. As for the silhouettes they seem too small to be the subject, but seem more like people that just happened to be in your frame, have them take up most of the frame if they're your subject. Also definitely level out the horizon

cool clicks i took this shot of my friends a few days back. Something like what Gemini suggested. (But it was sunset)
