Unhappy Unwanted green reflections

Hello everyone!
This is my first post here so if it's not in the righr section, please feel free to modify it.
I took some night shots the other day with my Nikon D40 + UV filter and I got some green reflections in the image. I had never seen them before and I always have the UV on.
Do you have any idea why do they appear?
They look inverted to the original light source in the pic.
Thanks!

Hi there,
Just think it's the filter that might be causing this plus the light coming off the candles that's not helping but I have had a quick play and hope you like the result. Nice image though
David.

Wow! How did you do this??
Does it have something to do with the filter quality? Are there different UV filters? I heard something about coated and non-coated. Which is the difference?
Thanks Harry!!

It's the UV filter. Take it off. Any UV filter can cause this effect.
