Nice concept, but I am not hooked by the execution.
I find the lines of the morter distracting. It might look better if you cropped it just below the line above the top of her head. Cropping there would also remove the texture created by the shadow on the stone above her which looks a little like disheveled hair strands. You have a nice, sharp outline of her face, but I cannot tell if she has a scraggly beard or hair or if it is shadow below her chin (the more i look at it, the more it looks like a beard). Some thoughts for a do over: Do it against a smooth background, or through a tight screen with backlighting behind her. Play around with posing...hands on her hips, below her belly, on top of her belly, etc. I like the concept of the silloette, I just think you need to play around with it some more. My 2 cents, Anne |

[QUOTE=AnneWynne;640472]Nice concept, but I am not hooked by the execution.
Thankyou very much for ur thoughts over it.I did feel the excution was quiet not clear. However,Doover might take little longer..or may be i could try anywhere but i took this is Brooklyn Bridge in NY. I had other picture which i posted in Share section. i took around 6 pictures but funny thing is it was a guy with an Ipod trying to take his picture, not a lady..i had his shoulder and belly shadow shot.Which increase my intrest over other people around and i took one more shot including myself. However i wanted myself included in the shot showing someone taking picture which i quiet didnt get as the sun light and my positions.here is that picture ![]() You can critic in this one too if you want. Thankyou |
