Default First try at abstract

Fire Fly Trail

This is my first effort at this type of photography. I would like to know what people think. Is the black and white a bad choice? Also, the lines are a little unclear based on the method of shooting, do the needs to be more clear for something like this? What do people think overall? Any general impressions or comments are welcome. Thanks for looking.

I just started doing these myself. I personally prefer different colors in one picture to add some interest. I like the composition/crop tho, I like that it comes from the bottom right. I think with these it's a lot of trial and error and finding something you find interesting.

Thumbs up

I personally love the black and white, and I also think that the unclear lines add to the interest. I like the dotted line effect. So many of these Kinetic shots are done in bright colors that it's refreshing to see pure simplicity.

I will be testing the technique soon and we'll see what happens. Overall you're off to a great start.
