Hi everyone,
I'm new to the forum but have been snapping away with my dSLR for a while now - mostly landscape and coastal shots but was driven into the woods by some uninspiring weather recently. Find it hard to assess my images from this trip as it's not my usual thang, any pointers?Shot with an EOS 400d using 17-70mm sigma lens at 23mm; 0.8 sec exp (tripod) at f/8, ISO 100 Thanks for your views and feedback, Richard. |

Hello,
I do wooded areas a fair bit. I like the thought on this composition but I think a different angle would be better. I like to get as close to the ground as I can for shots like these. I would also take it either earlier in the morning or later in the afternoon. It seems really bright to me but that could be my monitor as well. Early morning and evening shots have soft light compared to high noon. Just my 2 cents.
