The shoe bothers me. The composition is good for what you are trying to convey. I got it without looking at the caption. Or maybe it is the whole leg? Might work better if you made it more abstract.

You mean without the leg, just the shadow? Wouldn't that get me without the contrast of "standing on your own two feet" VS having a life coach? Or have you meant of something else?
