News & History: Could the Lighting & Detailing have been better
Hi
Attached is a candid shot of a man reading a newspaper sitting inside a 1500 year old temple cave in South India. The details of the shot are: Camera Model : Nikon D90 Lens: Nikkor 18-200mm VR Color: sRGB Focal Length: 70mm F-Number: F/5 Exposure: 1/30 sec Metering: Pattern Exposure Compensation: -0.67 step The picture is attached and also at : http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo...eat=directlink Looking forward to some useful advise on taking these kind of pictures. Understanding exposure
Is the photo that I have submitted properly exposed since there is some depth
and dark areas within. Wished to understand if the composition could have been improved and/or if a slightly different exposure could have brought out any more detail. Thanks Suresh
