Default Yummy!

I just finished my home made light tent this week and also happened to get my hands on a pair of Lowel Totalight lights to go with it so I have been playing around a lot with it latley and happened to take a few shots I really liked and wanted to hear some critique on one of them.

"Yummy"
This is a shot I originally intended to give picture a feeling of exclusion through using a group of simular shapes and the strawberry shaped candy as the misfit outsider without using Post Proccesing for things such as color exclusion or any major cosmetic variation as I wanted them to remain in it's true colors. I experimented with using DoF to produce the intended feeling but still felt it made one element more distracting then the other so I left both in the forground and hoped the viewer would catch on at first glance in a seasemy street "one of these things is not like the other" sort of way.

Please take your time and give me an honest hit with it I look forward to hearing your feedback!

Yummy

Camera: Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi
Exposure: 0.008 sec (1/125)
Aperture: f/5.6
Focal Length: 29 mm
Exposure: +2.47
ISO Speed: 100
Exposure Bias: 0 EV
Flash: Off, Did not fire

Lighting: 2 Lowel Totalight (Multi-use tungsten halogen lamps) Pointed inwards towards the light tent for illumination.

Post Processing: Increased the exposure 2.5 stops in lightroom and adjusted my WB and S Curve as I foolishly put too much trust into my light meter.

(edit sorry said 1.5 stops and I meant 2 :P)

I really like the stark white background against the red.
The only thing I could think of was to maybe somehow get the one lone piece to stand up a little more so more of could be seen.
