Default Splatterware

I took this photo at the flea market. I was fascinated by the crazy color splashes on these utensils and wanted to get that feeling across, but to ensure that the objects are recognizable as well.

Do you find this image interesting? Does the composition work? Would it be better to show off the spatter on a plain background??

Thank you!

I love splatterware! I do like the blue on the red but I think the spoon should be angled more. It looks a bit flat resting horizontally across the photo.

I think it all works. A very interesting shot. I might suggest more even lighting as that's the only thing i see that holds it back - but I understand you weren't in ideal conditions.
