Default this bouncer wears yellow

this bouncer wears yellow

i'm a beginner DSLR user. Pls take a look and critic. How else can i make this better?

Camera: Nikon D50
Exposure: 0.008 sec (1/125)
Aperture: f/5.6
Focal Length: 35 mm
Exposure Bias: 0 EV
Flash: Auto, Fired, Return detected

Cool object!
The composition is ok, but I find the gray buckets in the background a bit distracting. (on the left). The glare on the sign is making it hard to read the words.
There is a hint of reflection of the yellow sign in the floor surface - I wonder if that reflection could be explored into a more engaging image.. just a thought!

Notice how the background is very dark? This is one of the problems when shooting with the on-board pop-up flash...you have almost no control over how everything in the shot is exposed. If you don't have one already you'll want to get a hot shoe flash/Speedlite and take control of your flash shots. Read the info in the following links...
