Timelapse - Ferris Wheel

I was out playing with my brand new 17-40mm f/4L lens and tripod over the weekend at Luna Park in Milsons Point on Sydney Harbour (if you know it), and the Ferris Wheel was drawing me in! Earlier on i had taken a great silhouette of the ride also!

I'm after feedback on the composition, exposure and thoughts on how you may have taken the picture differently!

I think I would have done something about the lighted spires/pillars in the back ground. They lead the eye out of the frame.
