Default On stage.

MP09-0095

Camera: Nikon D90
Lens: 18.0-105.0 mm f/3.5-5.6
Exposure: 0.005 sec (1/200)
Aperture: f/5.6
Focal Length: 105 mm
ISO Speed: 800

This shot was taken on a puppet stage with some stage lights illuminating the scene. I used a shutter speed of 200 to kill as much as that light as possible with out reducing my flashes power. I had a flash camera left shooting directly into the stage at about 1/3rd power.

I'm asking for any critiques that you guys can offer up. I personally like the shot so I'd like to know what wrong with it for the next time I set something like this up.

Hmmm - I like the idea, but I feel like there is maybe too much stage? What about a closer crop like this:

Thanks for the suggestion it dose look a little better cropped down.

I would have cropped it a bit more but I was kinda limited by my lens (105mm) and I don''t like cropping too much out my photos. One of my most "interesting" shots is cropped like mad, and I just don't like the lack of detail in it; so I avoid over cropping. Anyway thanks. ^^
