Default GPO Triptych

Hi All,

The roof of the balcony at GPO in Melbourne is amazing. I actually only took two shots... but made a third with some creative cropping and hue/saturation adjustment.

I was quite happy with the disjointed arc effect... particularly as all shots were of the same corner of the roof.

What do you all think? I like the arcs and curves that don't quite join... but it's a bit of a kooky one, so I thought I'd get some other opinions!

GPO Melbourne Triptych

Thanks!

This is really cool. It took me reading your post to realize that the second and third shots are actually the same. Nice work.

I really like the idea, the colour choices and crop but for me personally - I would have prefered to have the left side repeated in rotation on the right. Keep the colours the same but create more symmetry.

Ooooh!

I'm lusting for an ultra-wide-angle lens.

Until I get it, I'm not willing/able to do the amount of post-processing needed to achieve a really good panorama.

But a tryptic might work. Or a [?]ptic ...

Thanks for all of your feedback.

I actually did think at the time it would be worth flipping the left image for the symmetry, but wasn't quite happy with it, it almost looked a bit too symmetrical. Thanks for the feedback though.

And B you should definitely try a triptych... it was quite good fun!
