I was at The Metropolitan Museum of Art this past Memorial Day weekend and the best thing about the place is they allow photographs. There I found out that, even though for miniatures and such in the Egyptian exhibit, the 50mm f/1.4 was perfect, for most other shots, once again the Canon 10-22mm wide angle was the best.
I took this shot from the balcony overlooking the great hall. Still practicing dealing with the distortions of the wide angle lens, especially at 10mm. With so many people there though there was not much I could do. I think the distorted people near the bottom manages to give a certain feeling of movement but overall, am looking for feedback from a wide angle composition point of view as well as if the people are distracting or it makes it feel more alive. Thanks in advance!! Canon 50D EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM 1/50 sec at f/5.6 ISO 1000 Focal Length: 10mm Hand held (You can also go here: http://www.timarai.com/blog/2009/05/...in-wide-angle/ for a full size version.
