Default Swimming Pool

I wanted to utilize my apartment complex pool for quite some time and finally did today. This was set on a timer with some luck on jumping when I thought I should [counted in my head]

Pool Jump

Shutter Speed - 1/1000th
F-Stop - 5.6
ISO - 200

I felt the poles in the background led the eyes to the subject. Is there a chance that this is too dark?

Thanks for any and all feedback.

It is a little dark but honestly it is amazing that you were able to get the timing down to catch yourself in mid air. Nice job.

Oh! and you could bring up the lighting in Photoshop. Just copy the background layer and change the layer mode to screen and mess with the opacity.

interesting shot, but a bit dark. Try splashing in the water, it can be more interesting.
