Nothing particularly special about it. It's a picture of a bench, taken from standing perspective.
As a side note, your settings seem a bit off. 1/1000s is a bit fast and ISO400 is a bit high for scene where nothing is moving in daylight. Shooting wide open on the kit lens generally doesn't give you the best results. I'd start around f/8.

I very much disagree with the first post. I think it is a beautiful picture. It gives me a feeling of aloneness and... I'm at a loss for words
It speaks to me, sorry if that sounds funny ![]() It seems to say that everyone is going along with the fast-paced world and no one has time to sit down for a breather. As a result, it's been long forgotten and now the only thing that accompanies the bench is the 'wheat' surrounding. Very beautiful picture. I'm farily new at the technicalities of photography so I won't get into that; I'll rely on my senses! It does seem a bit dark, but flash might have ruined the picture. It could have looked better from a different perspective as well. But all in all, I really like this picture! |

Thanks for the input, undefinedsimplicity, but I think I see what the other two critiques are getting at is that there is nothing interesting happening in the picture. It could have possibly been interesting, but the composition is just not there.
Thanks again. |
