Default Where Icarus Failed

Well, I honestly don't really know where to put this picture but i'll try here.

After messing around with some picture styles I came on this picture, .
I tried some sepia settings, but when I saw this picture I knew it was a hit, but I really want to know what I could've done to make it even better

Camera: Eos 1000D
ISO: 200
F: f/14
speed: 1/500

I think the picture is in the right spot. I love it. It took me a second to see the small plane, but once I did the photo really came together. The only suggestion might be to tone down the exposure so the upper right corner is not so blown out...But, then again, the blown out area and brightness suits the title. Very nice shot! Thanks for sharing it!
