Default Fireworks -

I did my best to capture some fireworks the other night and I'm fairly happy with some of my shots.

Now I'm hoping you all can tell me where to go from here so that next time they come out even better.

Should I have opened the aperture a little more? Gone for a faster shutter speed?

I did turn on the long exposure noise reduction feature, is that a good thing? I shot in RAW and increased the contrast a little before I converted to jpeg.

Here's on of my favs, there's a few more in my flickr account and you can see them all here if you are interested.

IMG_7372

Camera: Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi
Exposure: 12
Aperture: f/11.0
Focal Length: 27 mm
ISO Speed: 100
Flash: Off, Did not fire
Software: Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0 Windows
Exposure Program: Manual

Thanks for the input!!

Howdy. I think your shots look fantastic. Great color, nice lines. I'm not sure how you envision them coming out better.

Thanks Quazology,
I thought maybe they were just a little out of focus. Maybe that's just my eyes!

I think the colours and focus look fine. I checked out your Flickr version, and it is too bad that you do not have larger image sizes available. Then I could tell for sure. Nice shot, though.

Thanks!
Maybe I should branch out and upload a little larger pics to flickr.
