Hi, my first critique shot but don't that let hold you back from constructive criticisms.
![]() EXIF data Camera - Nikon D40 with 18-55mm kit lens Aperture - f/16 Shutter speed - 1/400 second ISO - 200 No Flash What do you think about the silhouette details of the picture? In my opinion, the bottom part below the angel with the water fountain is distracting so this picture would benefit from a more close up shot. The trees behind the angel are distracting but that was unavoidable at the time due to where the sun was and the mass of trees there and tall too(Central Park in New York City). Maybe I'll try to find a better time of day next time if I want a better shot of this silhouette. Do you agree with my self-critique?

Yes, those trees are the problem, and if you had the posibility to move around and change the angle, just as you did not because of the sun, it would be better.
