Did you have a question about the shot?

Personally, I think it needs straightened, and you could adjust your aperture to blur the background a little more. Unless your trying to tell a story, there is too much going on in the photo. I would also crop the right side some to remove the head and the edge of the bowl. These things are distracting.

Nice drop.

Perhaps position the glasses so that the TV is not in the background. It is very bright and kind of pulls your eyes to it.

Cheers

i also agree the tv needs to go and the bowl as well.

i think a good background would be a black background, or maybe a beer poster (of the same beer) or maybe a top photo looking down into the glass.

I cropped irrelevant detail and improved contrast. Ken

I think it is better to have the shot taken at a higher angle with the table top counter serving as background. This shot has so much clutter in the background especially the bright screen of the TV. A shallow DoF could also help in isolating your subject which I believe are the beer (glasses).

I agree with other posts about the background too busy, a quick change in aperture value to blurr the background would do the job. on the second shot on the table top, we see a lot of the reflection of the TV in the beer and on the table so lighting is a bit weird.

If you ever come up to Montreal, drop me a PM and we could go for a couple of tastefull beers.
