Cadira, first let's say congradulations on getting a DSLR. They are fun to play with. Personally I would have used a smaller aperture. I think that I would not have put the center of the plant in the center of the frame, maybe turned the camera so it wasn't facing directly into the center of the plant doing that would have made it so that the center was to one side of the frame kind of following the rule of thirds. It's a decent shot, keep it up.

I have had another go at this shot by taking on board feedback however i feel there is still something not quite right about this shot.
The original shot was taken with the plant positioned on a dark background and this one was sitting on a white background does it now look over exposed? ![]() Camera: Sony DSLR A300 Date picture was taken : 18/06/2009 Shutter time: 1/125s Aperture: f3.5 ISO Speed 100 Focal Length 18 Flash: yes White balance Auto Further feedback greatly appreciated
