I think you did a good job. I like the purple lights in the background. The clock is a nice subject!

Congratulations on your first try. No sign of camera shake.
Did you use a tripod? you might also want to include the exif on this shot.
welcome to DPS.

Love the shot, but it is a bit too dark. Also, maybe increasing saturation to bring the purple out more would be good.

Hi and welcome to the forum. I think you did a good job with this shot. You didn't post the EXIF data so it is hard to critique it much beyond that. I would like to see more detail in the building. I think that would improve the image.

I in no way intend for this to sound rude. But I don't think that having the EXIF data is necessary to giving a critique. Do you want it brighter, sharper, colors brought out more, change of depth?? That's really all you need to do for a critique. Give your thoughts on the photo itself without wondering what the data was. I think too many people focus (literally, haha) on the data itself, the data is irrelevant unless a person is wondering "In camera, how do I change my DOF, I currently used this, this, and this....." etc.

Well I guess that the rules of the forum just don't apply to everyone for some reason.

Critique Forum Rules

If that information was there it would explain why the shot came out the way it did without having to ask a bunch of questions or try to guess. Which is basically what I did do and said that I would like to see more detail in the building.

Great shot, looks like you have somewhat of an eye for photographic scenes. I like the location and perspective, although the image is blurry and I would say that distracts the viewer from the real subject or content of the photo. Were you using a tripod? Anyway I'm no pro. Awesome first try!
