Default High Contrast of my shoes

I remembered seeing a high contrast of a pair of high heels. Wanted to try it with my slip-ons.

These are not my shoes

My concerns lie here...

Is it composed well?

Does the upper left corner pull your eye out?

Is the lack of detail in some of the shadow areas troubling?

Thank you all.

I like your idea but it took me a minute to figure out what I was looking at.
I think the composition is solid.
The upper left corner is a odd shape but I don't think it is overly distracting.
A little more detail in the shadows might not be a bad thing.
