Default Dusk time sun light

Took this last night at dusk as the red sunlight was streaming into the woods. Is it interesting, or a waste of computer bits:

Sunlight at Dusk-3082

Camera: Nikon D300
Exposure: 0.013 sec (1/80)
Aperture: f/5
Focal Length: 70 mm
ISO Speed: 1600

I like the lighting, and the photo is interesting because of that. But, I think the photo would be much more interesting if the light fell on a more identifiable subject. My $0.02.

I like the shot because of how the red sun contrasts beautifully against the dark ground and green leaves. But maybe it would be better if you cropped the bottom portion where the pale leaves show?

To be completely, brutally, ruthlessly frank, if it was one of my shots, I probably wouldn't keep it. No strong patterns and it looks rather grainy as well viewed larger. You are getting much stronger shots (eg. your rabbit) so maybe it is a waste of space.

I can think of two exceptions - if I wanted a shot to experiment with some post-processing or if I wanted to keep Nicole happy and feed her another candidate for "What Would You Do"

I think the light is potentially interesting - if the location is near you and the weather conditions are the same, it might be worth going back and seeing if you could find a subject that will benefit more from the streaming light.

OUCH! But thanks!

Guess I should have done some noise reduction on it. It was shot at ISO 1600 so it definitely needs some.
