Default Coffee or tea?

I took this picture last month in Vancouver, BC; for me it was interesting to see the same number of places selling coffee or tea in the city. I took this one and I liked, I have some questions for you:
1.- This kind of pictures are Portraits or Landscapes?
2.- I know this picture can appear dark and that's what I liked, what can I do to bring some more light?
3.- Would you crop it to remove the people on the right?

ISO 400
Focal Length 18mm (28.8mm in 35mm)

1. Probably more landscape/cityscape than portrait.
2. For more light consider: different time of day, lower number ISO, opening up your lens (smaller aperture number), or changing the exposure compensation on your camera.
3. I think if you cropped it to remove the people on the right it would distort your shot. Often people add interest to a street scene.

Saralonde,
Thanks for your words, by the way! I learn the lesson on shooting at different ISOs on that trip.

Thanks for looking.
