Default B&W Walking onto the beach

http://www.flickr.com/photos/chriskp...hy/2622836842/

Camera: Canon EOS 400D Digital
Exposure: 0.013 sec (1/80)
Aperture: f/11
Focal Length: 48 mm
ISO Speed: 100
Exposure Bias: 0/3 EV

Could anyone recommend a better crop? Also any ways of improving the B&W, i spent a while adjusting the levels to make the clouds look dramatic, any suggestions?

ears1991, Welcome

Is your subject the person, the storm clouds, the stairway?

Cropping can point your viewer toward one of those, and what you intended to show by taking the photo. If the person is your subject, I might try to lighten some of the detail there. Otherwise the B&W looks good.

I would crop a bit off the left (at the sign) to make it look more like the woman is walking away into a distance instead of just down the stairs. I'd take the same distance off the top to create a feeling of coming down the stairs.
