Default Our Staircase

Stairs

Camera: Canon EOS 300D (lens i think is a 18-55mm kit)
Exposure: 1/10
Aperture: f/3.5
Focal Length: i dont know where to check this out...
ISO Speed: 100
Exposure Bias: and this aswell...
Flash: Flash did not fire

i'm sorry if my info is incomplete, i couldnt see any guides as to how to check these things out hehe sorry

i'm just a newbie in photography so please do leave and honesty is very much accepted heh i just saw this photo in one of my shots today and i found it very interesting, i hope you guys appreciate it aswell, or not haha

anyway, hows the lighting and the whole photo composition? anything that could've made it better? thanks

you included just the right amount of info.....

the lighting is a bit extreme as the stairs are in a deep shadow and that white wall is so bright that it tries to steal the show......in this case, i might have used a fill flash to light the treads and take down that wall's brightness a bit.....

the composition throws me, but i really don't have a suggestion on how to improve it.....

i was trying to make an eerie or a light out of a dark path approach, or maybe i should just change the title to "the banisters"?
