Default Metal

Well hi there,
as the sensors didn't get any attention, maybe you'd be more fond of criticizing metal itself...

Metal

Camera: Canon EOS 400D Digital
Exposure: 0.002 sec (1/500)
Aperture: f/3.5
Focal Length: 18 mm
ISO Speed: 1600

So I took this with the ann-frickin'-oying kit lens, but I needed some wide angle and I don't have the 10-22 yet...

So here's the thing: I think the overexposed top is what might make this photo interesting (together with the shapes and colours). Do you? Or is it TOO exposed?

Good job, Klaidas. I really like the sepia and the vignette. It brings out the mood.

I'll complain about two things:

First, the ISO1600 was not necessary. 1/500 sec. is overkill for hand-held (I'll assume) at 18mm. You might have done well with 1/30 sec.

Next, you should make the fact that the items in the bins are metal. For all I know, they may be dowels and sticks! Maybe you could bring the camera up and get rid of the top (I think it's just a distraction).

Just curious, but what is the company (or you) doing with so much metal?

Thanks for sharing!

Yeah, ISO was a mistake.. But I didn't really take any settings into consideration, except for exposure when I was taking this photo - I was in a rush - well, better luck next time

As for the metal, they're manufacturing lorries. (http://flickr.com/photos/klaidas/tags/patikimalinija/)
