Default New Lens

Well, as my dad told me "ya gotta have the right tools if you want to make a go at it". So here is one of the first shots with the new addition:

EXIF
F-stop: f13
Exposure time: 1/100 sec.
ISO speed: ISO-400
Focal length: 1000mm
Max aperture: 7.3

The new addition to the arsenal is a Sigma 50-500mm f4-6.3 EX DG/HSM lens with a 2x APO EX tele converter. It looks like wildlife wont have it's privacy much longer Please let me know what you think of the preliminary shot(s).

This picture was taken about 5pm EST and PS work was sharpening, and auto color adjust which made the light blue sky a darker blue but I liked it. Other than that I just resized it a bit (no cropping).

Nice shot but it looks like your sensor could do with a clean, loads of dust bunnies there

Or good old Photoshop will clone them out, there are a good many there so i would defo consider giving it a good clean

I thank you for pointing that out to me. You were right. Although this is the first time since I got the camera that I had the lens off, I found it hard to believe that the sensor got dust on it already. I went to check it out a few minutes ago and I took a couple of shots with my 18-200 and I didn't see those spots on any of those pictures. So, I took out the monster and cleaned the converter and the lens. It looks like some lint or dust got on the outside of the lens and it just needed a light cleaning. Thanks again.
