Default Last night on the quay

OK my First post so I thought I would jump straight in

The event is a weekly bike show\meeting\ event held every Tuesday night throughout the Summer on Poole Quay in England (in the middle on the south coast). Between 1000 and 2500 motor bikes park up on the quay, it is a nightmare to photograph, the sun is low and directly behind you, there are people wandering around, I clear shot is a mircale, enough of my excuses, here one from last night

Canon 400D, Tamron 17-50mm, 33m, F8 1/320 ISO 200 (I think I forgot to change the ISO from when I was in the shade).

Enjoy

Tim

Hi draggin:
I kind of know what you mean, specially when shooting at places or events with a lot of people. As you are affected by the time and weather I can't say to much about that, but in my honest opinion the bikes behind your main subject steals some of the attention. Maybe if you blur the background a little bit you will get more attention on your main subject.
Thanks for sharing it.
